Cutting to the beat- P money- My Lingo
These are the lyrics to the song from around 40 seconds where the dialogue starts and for the prelim we will be doing 1 minute of the song so it will end around 1.40.
[Verse 1]
I was chatting to a yute, having a verbal spar/ Shot of squad (S)
He said P, I rate you, you've really gone far Shot of yute (Y)
I wanna/ go far too
This year, I'm going hard,/ Close up of youe's hand (C)I want a hundred large/
I said a hundred large? Shot of P Money (P) / What you splashing that on?
Man /said a car
Brudda, where's your drive?/ shot of squad (S)Brudda, where's your yard? Shot of P Money (P)
F that car/ Shot of P Money (P)
You're acting like you're a boss/ Close up of yute's jeans (C)
But you ain't in charge/
Wining, dining, all these girls you don't know
And you can't even dance/ Shot of yute (Y)
You're dumb, you spent your money in the/ brass
Brudda, where's your mum? Brudda, where's your aunt?
Wait, stop this deck
Brudda, where's your besties? Where's your dargs?
You find that interesting,/ Long Take of P Money (P) I find it depressing
Excuse my aggression,/ but you blame the oppression
Bro,/ that ain't oppression, you know what that is?/
You and your dickhead bredrins,/ gassed up on a next ting
None of you's real, your mind's based off a film/
Where you're just acting real, trust me/
The music throughout the video is non-diegetic sound, but P Money's lips are in sync with it so it appears that he is actually singing the song. The music is a sound bridge because it is played across each different scene.

This is a low angled close up of P Money which shows the top part of his body whilst he is rapping in an urban area with tall flats. The camera is looking up at him so he looks powerful. He is wearing a hoodie, T-shirt and snapback which implies that he is from a rough area or that he is from a lower class family.
This is a mid shot of P Money and his friends, they look threatening to other people which illustrates power. The shot places P Money closer to the camera than the others, which connotes his authority in the group.

This is a close up of some CCTV cameras which could imply that there is violence and crime in the area which suggests the status of the area and of P Money and his friends.
This is a low angle shot of a run down corner shop which has the windows boarded up. This implies that it has been smashed up and vandalised which suggests that the area is rough and violent.

This is a over the shoulder, close up of a yute, which is slang for youth, and he is talking to P Money about his future and what he wants to do with it. The yute is wearing a tracksuit which illustrates that he is a bit 'chavy' or rough. It could also suggest that he is poor, as tracksuits can be cheap to buy.
/ = change in shot
Real talk, that's my lingo
Real talk, that's my lingo/ Shot of P Money (P)

Lyrics for The Amazons- Junk Food Forever
These are the lyrics of the song that we have chosen to do for our production.
Junk food forever, late nights together
jackets of leather, I can’t forget ya
have i changed for better, now we're not together?
jackets of leather, I can’t forget ya
have i changed for better, now we're not together?
Junk food forever
when it’s getting too late, to find somebody new
I
don’t wanna be alone, don’t wanna be alone, yeah
I, don’t wanna be alone
cos it feels like forever when im stuck here on my own
Junk food forever, its better late than never
im feeling the pressure, forgetting to remember
have i changed for better, now we're not together?
Junk food forever
when it’s getting too late to find somebody new
I
don’t wanna be alone, don’t wanna be alone, yeah
I, don’t wanna be alone
cos it feels like forever when im stuck here on my own
when it’s getting too late, to find somebody new
I
don’t wanna be alone, don’t wanna be alone, yeah
I, don’t wanna be alone
cos it feels like forever when im stuck here on my own
Junk food forever, its better late than never
im feeling the pressure, forgetting to remember
have i changed for better, now we're not together?
Junk food forever
when it’s getting too late to find somebody new
I
don’t wanna be alone, don’t wanna be alone, yeah
I, don’t wanna be alone
cos it feels like forever when im stuck here on my own

Vox pop analysis
This is our Vox Pops that we recorded to find out what people's favourite genre and what they enjoyed in their music videos. We got some really good results from this Vox Pops from a good range of people in the shots.
From the questions we found out that people liked lots of different genre from rock, alternate, rap, hip hop and pop. The range shows that there isn't a fixed genre in the area so people like all different genres. So there was no consistency through the answers so it didn't matter what gender because todays society like a mix between all the genres. From the second question we found out people's favourite music videos which linked to the first question because they all said an answer linked to their favourite genre. So again a good range of answers. Through the next question we found out that whether our audience preferred a narrative, Performance or Artistic based video and from the result we found out most of the audience liked a performance based video because they enjoy watching the video, which includes the band members, instruments and similar themes. From the third question we found out that most people preferred amplification and disjuncture. So it seems that people like the music to have a link but to also be random at times. From the next question about what people like in there videos and people like a story line throughout the video to give it a meaning. From the final question we found out that all of our audience view music videos through YouTube because it has a huge range of videos and it is free to watch.
So overall I think that using a Vox Pop is a very effective way of gathering information for our research. we need to know what to include in our video so our audience enjoy the video

Intertextual References
Intertextual references
An intertextual reference
is where in a music video they have references to other videos, genres, or any
other thing that is related or not related to the music video. These are
effective because it gives the audience something to relate to in the video, also
they will like it more as it gives them something else to think about and look
at whilst watching the video. The audience are more likely to watch the video
more than once so that they can identify all of the references. They use the
stereotypes that were portrayed and not the actual way that the cop shows were
in the 90s.
A good example of
intertextuality in music videos is the beasty boys- Sabotage. This video
heavily references 90s cop shows, however it does it in the form of a parody in
which they use many of the stereotypes that were portrayed and given to 90s cop
shows. All elements of the video are referencing the 90s cop shows, the mise en
scene, the location, the movement, the camera work and even the editing.
